Research Assistant
Mahima Das is a Masters student at Indian Institute of Psychology and Research(IIPR). She is a research assistant with the Trauma Group, working under the mentorship of Dr. Anat Talmon. In her masters dissertation she is investigating the predictive value of childhood trauma on alexithymia with cognitive fusion as a mediator. She is currently also working as a remedial educator for disabled children, trainee counsellor and research assistant at IIPR itself. Her research interests include childhood maltreatment, intimate partner violence, trauma related-psychopathologies and therapeutic interventions related to it. Mahima aspires to pursue a PhD in psychology in near future. In her leisure time, she loves to sing, paint and hanging out with her close friends.
