
Disha Mathew is currently pursuing her Masters in Psychology in Mumbai. With a foundation in clinical psychology and research, her early academic work focused on policy advocacy and mental health research for children and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is presently working under the mentorship of Dr. Anat Talmon with the Trauma Group, where she continues to deepen her research interests in trauma, identity, and culturally adaptive therapeutic approaches.. Disha aspires to pursue a Ph.D. in Cognitive Sciences, with a close integration of clinical psychology, aiming to bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and applied therapeutic practice. Outside academics, she enjoys reading fiction and philosophy, listening to music, and traveling often finding inspiration for her work through literature and reflective experiences.
