Saumya Narain is a research assistant with the Trauma Group, working under the mentorship of Dr. Anat Talmon. Currently working as a researcher and therapist, she holds an MSc in Clinical Psychology from Christ University, India. Her research interests include mapping the cultural differences in the outcomes and manifestations of complex trauma and trauma-related psychopathology, with a keen emphasis on the South Asian population. She aspires to contribute significantly to the burgeoning field of culturally informed interventions and treatments, with a long-term vision of integrating these insights into her future research endeavors and therapeutic practice. During her downtime, she loves indulging in baking, practicing yoga, dancing and streaming new series and movies.
